Darlington Auction Mart, one of the largest
prime cattle sales market in the country installed a 24-7 system that not
only allowed them to sell the 500 plus cattle a sale but gave the auctioneer
the information prior to the buyers. The weigh terminal transmits the
lot number and weight to a discreet display in the rostrum, simultaneously
to the "Newline" office system. The passport information is retrieved
from the "Newline" system, displayed along with the weight on the 50mm
bright LED display, when the cattle enters the ring. |

The market also suffers from vandalism and
24-7 Weighing Solutions Ltd overcame these problems by modifying the all
galvanised weighbridge to a secure unit and supplying the weigh head and
battery back up unit in a lockable cabinet. |
